Tata Power organised a three day ‘First Aid’ training for its contractor workers.The objective of this initiative is to encourage people to become trained first aiders in order to take care of emergency situations.This initiative aims to help more and more trained first aiders round the clock in various operational areas.
The training was imparted to 23 contractors, in partnership with St. John’s Ambulance. Speaking on the training programme, K Chandrashekhar, CEO - Maithon Power ltd, said, “Safety is one of Tata Power’s core organisational values and is of utmost importance. The company holds safety as a key focus area in operations, project execution, and is committed to ensuring that it becomes extremely significant in days to come. The training programme organised for MPl associates is a major contributor in enabling the community to become self-sufficient and take care of emergency situations themselves at any given point in time.
