Tata Power and Anil Sardana, managing director of the company, have been honoured with the ‘CBIP Award for Outstanding Performance in the Power Sector’ and ‘Power Persona of the Year,’ respectively, at the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) Awards. The awards were accepted on behalf of Tata Power by Ashok Sethi, COO & executive director, Tata Power. The awards recognise outstanding contribution of the company to the nation’s economy demonstrated through excellent leadership and long time performance for overall development in all the facets of the power sector. Sardana was exemplified as a leader for his contribution to the accelerated development of the power sector.
