Tata Power — in line with its Greenolution philosophy — the Jojobera team of the company has undertaken various sustainable initiatives to contribute towards a greener environment and bio-diversity in Jojobera. The objective of this initiative is to ensure that all employees practice and contribute towards sustainability and support resource management within the organisation.
Team Jojobera has more than 280 employees volunteering under various committees for undertaking sustainability initiatives. These committees work towards mapping and monitoring carbon footprint and encourage 100 per cent recycled paper usage, tree plantation, water and fuel, waste management and energy conservation. DS Kudalkar, head of Jojobera station, Tata Power said, "We at Tata Power work towards sustainable development and believe that this is imperative for the growth of a developing economy like India. All our resource management and sustainability programmes aim towards clean and green future. We use simple methods and hope that our hard work and demonstrates their commitment towards this Green cause.”
