Palamau administration has rescheduled the timing of the government and private schools operative in the whole of the district of Palamu.
Under orders of the deputy commissioner Palamu Pooja Singhal all government and private schools will be functioning as per new timing.
According to Singhal for class/standard 1 to class/standard 5 the timing is 6.30 to 9.30. Again for class/standard 6 to class/standard 8 the timing is now 6.30 to 10.30.
However there are some private schools having big banners which bluntly show thumbs down to the directive of the administration with regard to timing in summer. Sources reminded that no action has ever been taken against such a defiant school in the past.
The order gets more effective for the primary and middle schools.
Summer is getting more and more tougher here in Palamau where people of all walks of life walk in the sun with towel on their heads, a home made device to beat heat and to keep one’s head cool.
The mercury is hovering between 43 degree Celsius to 44.3 degree Celsius.
Additionally, lagan is at its peak but this summer is hardly spoiling the mood of people going as barati.
