Winner of lohardaga constituency bypoll Sukhdeo Bhagat held a procession on Friday to mark the victory. The procession started from party office at Rajendra Bhawan and made its way through the city reaching finally to party office again.
Sukhdeo Bhagat accompanying by his wife Anupama Bhagat was receiving the wishes of the people while riding on an open jeep. In this procession a large number of party supporters took part with beat of drums and played crackers.
Notably Sukhdeo Bhagat had defeated BJP candidate Sadhnu Bhagat in 2005 but lost to KK Bhagat of AJSU in 2009 and 2014. Sukhdeo Bhagat is the denizen of Nadia village. Having studied in Netarhat School Bhagat pursued his MA from Delhi University and went for bank P.O. in 1994. He left the job and joined as deputy collector through BPSC. Bhagat on the occasion said that NDA has misused the rule of Government. The defeat of NDA candidate is the direct hit.
