The Eighth meet of Chhotanagpuria Teli Uthhan Samaj was organised under the leadership of district president Shiv Dayal Sahu. Central president of the society Balram Sahu, MP Sudarshan Bhagat, MlA KK Bhagat, State president Tileshwar Sahu, Jaykishun Sahu and Ripusudan Sahu were present on the occasion.
Balram Sahu said, “The society is plays an important role in nation building which is being neglected by several political parties. And since we are aware of our rights we are now fighting for reservation under Scheduled Tribes.” State president Tileshwar Sahu said, “The members of this samaj will caste their votes in favour of who would work for the welfare of the society.” MP Sudarshan Bhagat said, “Many creative works have been done by the society and society has made its distinguished status. The matter of reservation under ST and development works has already been raised in the parliament.”
MlA KK Bhagat said, “The society must work for welfare and all the possible help will be provided by MlA fund.”
