The CISF on duty at Bokaro Thermal Power plant gate have busted a gang, which had stolen copper material
and other articles from the Power plant of DVC in Bokaro Thermal Power Station (BPTS) here on Monday afternoon.
Following a tip-off the Central Industrial Security Forces (CISF) on duty, nabbed one helper Israel Ansari of Power Electronic private company, who was coming out the power plant with a copper material weighting ½ kg, was intercepted by the CISF personnel here on Monday on special checking, sources said.
During the special checking at the plant gate Israel Ansari belonging to Noori Nagar was arrested and later handed over to the State police for further investigation. While the local police said the some private company staff was active in Bokaro Thermal plant.
The accused confessed to having committed crime in plant .the gang members used to sell the stolen material in local market. In other incident, the Bokaro Thermal police is reported to have seized three tractors laden with illegal sand at Armo village on Monday.
Police sources said that three tractors ,two having bearing registration number Jh-22A -0929,and Jh-2H-6302 and one with number plate loads of sand coming from Thermal were intercepted at Armo village when moving very fast and arousing suspicious. However the drivers managed to flee.
