Two women entrepreneurs who bagged the Best Entrepreneur Jharkhand State Award last year were felicitated as the Best Women Entrepreneur for small scale industries from eastern region at National level for 2012 on April 3 by President Pranab Mukherjee at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Kavita Yadav, the owner of The Padosan Masala (spices) from Ranchi and Silk weaver Rita Munda from Muri were given this prestigious award.
Expressing happiness over receiving this Award Kavita told The Pioneer, “Providing employment opportunities to as many as 45 women with this spice making culture has been my biggest achievement ever. This award is dedicated to the entire Padosan Masala family.”
