City residents are all set to get a glimpse of colourful tableaux depicting various projects undertaken by the concerned departments in Jharkhand. As many as 16 tableaux will be displayed during the Republic Day parade at Morhabadi on January 26 and will underscore the significance of each department besides the impact of projects on the lifestyle of tribal community.
The departments to display tableau are Information and Public Relations Department (IPRD), Drinking Water and Sanitation Department (DWSD), Social Welfare, Women and Child Development, department of Health, Dairy Development Board, department of Industry, department of Tourism, District Election Office (DEO), department of Forest and Environment, department of Fisheries; department of Agriculture; Welfare; Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency ltd (JREDA), Art, Culture, Sports & Youth Affairs; Jharkhand State Khadi Gramodyog Board; Jharkhand Mining Development Corporation (JSMDC) and Tata Company.
“All organisations who will be displaying their tableau are working hard to ensure that they complete the work on time. The tableaus will be complete by January 25,” said DPRO Ranchi, Paltu Mahto who is monitoring the preparations.
The tableaux will depict benefits of plants, animal rearing projects and its impact on people’s lives, farming techniques, energy conservation by using alternate source of energy like solar energy, tribal tools and jewelry, women empowerment by gender centric skill development training provided by welfare department, waterfalls and tourist destinations in Jharkhand, musical instruments of tribal community, live akhra and tribal dance, importance of voter registration and means of enrollment in voters list besides technical training provided at various government owned and operated training centre.
Interestingly, viewers at the parade will also be shown the entire supply chain of farm produce and various techniques of jewelry making through live performance by artists.
