Senior Congress Leaders of the State attacked the recent reshuffle of the party and said that despite three years of the coalition Government coming to power in Jharkhand after 37 years, 99 per cent of the Congress party’s workers have neither a feeling of their Government nor any kind of feeling on their faces. To save Congress organization in the State an important meeting has been called on December 19, in which senior and old Congressmen will remain present.

Senior party Leaders also said that due to the leadership in the wrong hands the workers are feeling cheated in the organisation and the Government level, the leaders and workers are agitated in every corner of the State and are still agitating.

The State Congress Committee's Senior Leader and former Spokesperson, Lal Kishore Nath Shahdeo said that the JPCC Chief has been Secretary, General Secretary, Media In-Charge, Working president, then President for 8 years and in almost three years of the Government only he flourished and is busy in politics for getting the status of a Minister or a Rajya Sabha ticket. The continuation of such a president even for a day will work to send the party to the abyss and the workers will not be able to repent, he added.

“The State Congress In-Charge has also silently left Jharkhand to its condition. In such a situation, an important meeting of the prominent Congress people of entire State has been held on December 19 at 11:30 am in the State Guest house, Morhabadi in the State Capital where they will demand that Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) Chief should be removed immediately. An outline will be prepared regarding the key,” said Shahdeo.

Senior leader and former head of Coal belt, Honi Singh Munda said that those who are making the point that the committee has been formed after six years, then the State president should stop misleading. “Dr Ajay Kumar had also constituted the committee and five multiple big committee and social balance was fully taken care of. During the tenure of Dr Rameshwar Oraon, the committee was definitely not formed due to COVID,” he added.

Senior Congress Committee Leader, Feroze Rizvi Munna said that there is no point in continuing in a Government in which Congress workers do not have a reputation, their words do not have importance, and there is no feeling of being a Government on their face. “This Government has not been formed for four people, innumerable Congress workers have contributed significantly in forming this Government through their struggle. Neglect of the workers will not be tolerated. People from outside have captured the whole party, now the workers are not ready to tolerate their insult even for a single day,” he added..
