According to the DNA test reports received by the Deoghar police, it suggests that the vaginal swab of one of the girls collected from the site of rape contained sperm particles in it. The DNA test reports were prepared at the forensic lab in Ranchi.
“Sperm particles have been found in the vaginal sperm of one of the girl which will be matched with the DNA profiles of the accused persons,” said Deoghar SP Ranjeet Kumar Prasad.
The case will further be dealt by the CID as the case has been handed over to it. We will extend full support to the CID as and when required by it,” assured the SP.
The daughters of policemen, both daughters of policemen were found dead on May 27 near a pond. Both were students of Class VIII.
The vaginal swab samples of the victims as well as condoms found at the crime site had been sent to the forensic science lab at Ranchi for DNA profiling.
