Considering the two major festivals of the year, Durga Puja and Diwali, the South Eastern Railway has made special arrangements for the travelers considering the rush. The frequency of Hatia-Pune-Hatia Superfast Special train has been increased and 11 trips have been arranged. The special train (02846) service will be initiated from September 20 to November 29 to ease down the rush. The train will ferry travelers on every Wednesday from Hatia Railway Station at 9 PM (21:00).
Additional charges will be also incurred upon the passengers. As per the schedule released by the Ranchi Rail Division on Saturday, from September 22 to December 1, on every Friday, special train (02845) will leave from Pune to Ranchi.
According to the additional arrangements, four additional bogies in general class, six additional bogies in sleeper class including four additional bogies in three AC and one bogie of 2 ACs will be added while adding up to 17 additional coaches in the train to manage the crowd. The Hatia-Pune-Hatia train will cover major destinations like Rourkela, Jadugoda, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Warda, Nagpur.
Similarly, another train for accommodating passengers from Ranchi-Patna-Ranchi will also ferry passengers considering the two major festiva From September 21 to November 30.
