lav Kumar, son of Deputy Secretary, Civil Aviation department, Ram Narayan Ram, was found dead on Friday near western side of Dhurwa Dam. Kumar’s body has been sent for post-mortem by the district police.
“Prima facie the reasons are unknown. We have sent it for postmortem. let us wait for the report. There were no sign of injury anywhere on the body,” said Arvind Kumar, in-charge of Argora police station.
The body was discovered on Friday morning by a few residents of Dhurwa. The residents informed the police about the dead body which was subsequently sent for all necesssary examinations.
Kumar had reportedly gone missing on the night of September 2 when he left his house in Ashok Nagar for unknown location. A report was registered with the Argora PS on September 3 by the anxious parents when Kumar did not return to his house.
“Their parents did not mention any name in the report filed,” said the in-charge of Argora PS.
Kumar was a student of final year of Engineering in a private college situated in Bangalore and had returned to Ranchi after completing his final exams.
