A delegation of Central Sikh Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) on Friday staged a protest against release of the film 'The Messenger of God' (MSG), portraying Dera Sacha Sauda sect chief, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. The members gathered at deputy commissioner’s office and raised slogans against the movie. They said that the movie should be completely banned.
Inderjeet Singh, president, CGPC said that Ram Rahim has portrayed himself as God against religions -Sikh, Hindu and Muslims, which can never be accepted. CGPC chairman Sardar Shailendra Singh, also said that the movie must be banned. The delegation also handed a memorandum to the DC. Singh said that though the film has not been released in Jamshedpur, but still the community demands complete ban across the globe.
