Addressing the gathering Ganga Bhalotia said, she was present for supporting the cause of women and will always be in future for such initiatives. Dr Hemlata S Mohan affirmed women to be vital impetus to fulfil the dream of Make in India by PM Narendra Modi and revive the ailing manufacturing sector.
She said, our (Indian) culture is multidimensional, integrated and interconnected which marks its diversity and uniqueness. Antiquity, religiosity, diversity, regionalism and inclusiveness are the features which makes India elite. She continued saying that Indian ethos has largely been built and influenced by women who has to unlock and consolidate their potential towards their skill enhancement and overall awareness which alone can fulfill the dream of Make in India.
She strongly feels that a homemaker can be a country maker just by honing their skills and analysing their talent to utilise it in a channelised way to make the commodities in the homeland and further multiplying their efforts to take this a step ahead which can contribute towards making India a global manufacturing hub. If china can spread itself with Made in China then India can easily mark its foot by ‘Make in India’ was Indian women can prove to be the determining factor.
Shabnam Perween, Member, JSCW appreciated Dr Hemlata S Mohan, former chairperson JSCW and member governing body, JHAlSA for her contribution towards women empowerment and their upliftment. She feels the effort need continuation and similar level of approach to reboot the system so that the resonance can reach every corner.
