Security has been beefed up ahead of Independence Day and Bakrid across Bokaro district. Following the recent activities of CPI (Maoist) rebels, who issued protest and pasted posters at different spots in the district cops are keeping a hawk-eyed vigil to spoil any possible threats, police said.
The district police along with CRPF cops intensified search operations in Upperghat, Jhumra and Lugu hillock regions. Taking tough over the intelligence inputs security has been intensified.
On the direction of higher ups high alert has been declared across the district, police said.
