A rare piece of communal amity and understanding was scripted in Daltonganj. A multi speciality hospital is coming up near the Muslin graveyard in Daltonganj.
The upcoming multi speciality hospital is of two prominent orthopedic surgeons Vijay Kumar Singh and Praveen Siddharth.
Siddharth said we were facing a space crunch where we could have stocked or dumped our construction materials. He said this was noticed by the management of the Muslin graveyard, who on its own offered us the open space there for us to dump the construction material.
Siddharth said it was such a big and kind gesture on the part of the management of the Muslim graveyard which overwhelmed us like anything.
He said we also began to look for the facilities that were not available in the outer portion of the grave yard.
It was a toilet. Funeral processionists sometimes had to cross the road to ease themselves just for want of the toilet here in the outer portion of the Muslim grave yard.
Siddharth said we got it built and it was opened to the users today who come for the burial of their beloved ones.
Sources said the reciprocal understanding and cooperation between the doctors Vijay Kumar Singh-Praveen Siddharth and the management of the Muslim grave yard is the talk of the town here.
Sources said when a new multi storey building comes up there arises numerous problems from people living around there but here people of two different faiths showed the way for a hospital which on completion will be useful for all.
