Chairman SAIl PK Singh visits Bokaro Steel Plant (BSl) and took an account of production and ongoing projects of the plant. Accompanied by Director (Personnel) Dr N Mohapatra and other senior officials Singh rushed to Bokaro on Thursday morning.
Along with other officials SAIl Chairman first offers flowers on the statue of Dr BR Ambedkar at Sector 4 and later visited various units of the steel plant including Blast Furnace#2, Continuous Casting Shop, Hot Strip Mill, HDGl and the Cold Rolling Mill-III, said an official.
Singh held a meeting with the BSl top management team to review issues related to production, projects and other important matters and later interacted with a cross-section of the employees of the plant at the HRD auditorium.
He also held separate meetings with members of Bokaro Steel Officers’ Association and Union representatives. CEO, BSl Anutosh Maitra along with Executive Directors, DIG (CISF) Shrikant Kishore and other senior officials were also with the Singh. He will depart on Friday morning, informed PR official.
