Giving a major thrust to safety, IISCO Steel Plant today held an important meeting to take stock of the “Readiness to Operate” with regards to safety of BOF and CCP unit. M/s Dupont India Private ltd has been selected as consultant to ISP for this project. The meeting, chaired by Executive Director in-charge I C Sahu was held along with Executive Directors, General Managers of ISP and Dupont Officials.
Seven Dupont consultants will look into five focus areas of Environment and safety readiness, people readiness, organizational readiness, facilities readiness and operational readiness of BOF & CCP. The cross functional teams would be led by five designated managers of IISCO Steel Plant.
By means of a series of communication and assessment exercise, the cross functional team would ensure readiness of all aspects before the BOF-CCP production kicks off.
