State Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Minister Saryu Roy chaired an emergency meeting with Jharkhand State Food Corporation functionaries on Thursday.
While reviewing the corporation’s functions during the meeting, Roy discovered that since its formation in 2011, no decisions taken by the board of directors has been complied with.
He instructed that all the vacant posts in JSFC should be filled within ninety days. One SOR is to be appointed as General Manager with immediate effect. The vacant posts of DGM are to be filled by promotion. A chartered accountant on contract-basis is to be hired for managing JSFC accounts.
All the irregularities in JSFC are to be sorted within one and a half month.
