Railway authorities have decided to start a new train 'examination special' for Karnataka for the aspiring engineering students who will be making their journey to appear on the examination schedule on May 1.
The information was shared by Ranchi Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) Deepak Kashyap at the Press conference organised at the occasion of Railways week celebration from April 12- 19. He said, “To help students a hassle free journey the train is being started from Ranchi. The train is only for students." Besides, a pair of escalator and lift is going to install in Hatia railway station by the end of this year.
"like Ranchi railway station, Hatia railway station too will have escalator and lift soon for the passengers. The amount for the same has been sanctioned and the work will also be kicked off at the earliest," added Kashyap.
While strengthening the security arrangements, 35 CCTV cameras have been installed within the station premises. Moreover, sniffer dogs have also been placed for vigilance. The work of erecting boundary across the station has also been started and according to officials the work will be done by the end of this year.
