State labour Minister Chandrasekhar Dubey alias Dadai Dubey created storm in the State politics on giving a statement on recent reshufflings of BDOs in Jharkhand.
Dubey is Vishrampur Congress MlA (Palamu) and former MP from Dhanbad said reshuffling of 169 BDOs was done after keeping in mind of the recommendations and consents of the Chief Minister, Ministers and MlAs of the State. Admitting there were still some mistakes in reshufflings, Dubey said “Few are still unsatisfied. “Mistakes would be corrected today (on Thursday) after keeping all consents in mind,” added Dubey.
“Election Najdik hai, Sabhi apni pasand ke adhikari ki posting apna area me chahate hai. Maina Sabhi ka dhayaan rakhate huye transfer-posting ki hai” (Though, elections have to be scheduled nearly, every Minister and MlA wants their own officers in their areas. All reshufflings were done after following the recommendations and consents) added Dubey. He was talking to the media persons at his Bokaro residence on Thursday noon.
Notably, amidst claiming transparency, equitable growth and corruption free governance in State, ‘reshuffling’ (transfers and posting) of the Government officials has taken an industrial turn in Jharkhand. In a major reshuffle, around 169 BDO’s were transferred and posted (across the State) by the State Government on Wednesday.
Expressing deep concern over the slow pace of development Minister said, State which was crave-out from Bihar in 2000, had not been able to develop due to various challenges. “Since after its 13 years of inception, there are huge tragic cases of poverty and backwardness in industrial sector as well as in agricultural field only due to political unwillingness”, he added.
