People of the state can expects a relatively pleasant weather from May 24 onwards as the local weather experts have indicated a decrease in the high temperature prevailing in all the districts of the state.

It is because the Bay of Bengal is having a good cloud which is to approach the coast within two or three days, say experts. “Districts including Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Palamau and Giridih are experiencing temperature between 38 to 42 degrees. This is a matter of discomfort. Rather, temperature above 38 degrees is always uncomfortable. Our prediction shows that weather will be normal by Monday,” Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) Department of Agro-Physics and Meteorology Professor A Wadood said on Thursday.

“Pre-Monsoon rains are expected by May 31 or June 1. In India, monsoon will hit Kerala coast by June 6 and it will reach Jharkhand by June 15. This year, monsoon is delayed by around five days. Rains will be five percent short across the country,” he further added.
