The Regional Deputy Director Health John F Kennedy had a bad taste of the coronavirus infection, said his wife Neelu Mishra. She said Kennedy had high infected lungs and was hospitalised in Patna where he remained in bed for many weeks.
Kennedy made a slow but spectacular recovery but had a different and knocking down text reaching him when he was in the bed in Patna. Kennedy said, “There came an obituary of me. My family told me when I was in the hospital."
He said he was in such a precarious condition then where any reaction to obituary was something unthinkable.
However, he added he knew he would be on the road to recovery following the obituary.
Kennedy in a philosophical tone said, "You speak 'ill' of the sick and the sick bounces to life.”
Kennedy recovered, became medically fit and reached Daltonganj from Patna and started working as the regional deputy director health Palamu.
He did two things here on his first day in the office of the RDDH on Monday.
He campaigned for vaccination asking all the eligible that he is here because of his two doses of the vaccine.
Kennedy asked the eligible not to delay or linger their first dose or the second dose of the vaccine.
And the second thing that he did was he showed no malice to any one not to even the fellow who had forwarded the obituary text to his family.
