The police said that information of those who informed about the rioters will be kept confidential. Hoardings with photographs of the accused and their names and addresses have been put up at major squares and squares of the city.

On Monday, the Governor had summoned the senior police-administrative officers of the state including DGP Neeraj Sinha and expressed displeasure over the incident of violence.

The Governor had asked the DGP to identify the miscreants and put their photographs in public places so that common citizens can give information about them. The posters have appeared at various roundabouts within 24 hours after the Governor expressed his displeasure over Friday violence.

The posters also carry the name and address of the miscreants behind the incident.  The hoardings and posters put up at major intersections of the city have pictures of more than three dozen miscreants.
