Ranchi DC Vinay Kumar Choubey on Thursday chaired a review meeting on social sector schemes-- MNREGA, old age pension and PDS— and online mutation of lands.
The Ranchi DC asked the BDO’s present in the meeting to link accounts maintained for old age pension to Aadhaar number of the beneficiary and to link remaining job card holders registered under MNREGA with Aadhaar within a week. Choubey directed the BDOs to remove hurdles in online mutation of land in Namkum, Itki, Angarha, Kanke and Tamar.
Besides, the DC issued instructions to the BDOs of Mandar, lapung and Bundu to complete data entry of records and begin the process of online mutation of lands.
Significantly, on the matter of scholarship Choubey asked officials of the education department to prepare Aadhaar based database of pre-matric students. For students studying in high schools the DC asked the officials to incorporate requisite certificates of students belonging to SC, ST and BC.
The meeting was attended by SDO Bundu, Brajeshwari; SDO Ranchi, Amit Kumar; DWO Ranchi, Niraj Kumari and ADM (l&O) IA Ansari.
