Pious festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at Government Middle School Palmerganj lohardaga. On the occasion SP Manoj Ratan Chothe underlined the importance of the festival.
He said, “It is the symbol the lovable relation of brother and sister.”
“A sister ties a Rakhi on her brother’s wrist to protect him from evil influence and those which may taint his characters and also to strengthen the bond of sibling love between them. In return the brother gives her a gift and vows to protect her too,” he added.
