A meeting of the Rajbhasha Karyanwayan Samiti of Central Coalfields limited(CCl) was held at Coal Room(CCl Darbhanga House), Ranchi on Saturday. Chairman-cum-Managing Director, CCl Gopal Singh presided the meeting, in which Chief General Manger (Operations/ Co-ordination) P K Guin, departmental heads of CCl headquarters and senior officials of Area attended the meeting. Director(Finance) D K Ghosh was also present in the meeting.
Gopal Singh reviewed the implementation of last meeting of the Rajbhasha Karyanwayan Samiti. Addressing the officials, Sri Singh directed the employees to give top priority to the Hindi while disposing of their official works. Singh further said that the company is doing well in various areas, including Hindi and it will do much better in future. Senior Officer(Official language) Dr Nivedita Banerjee briefed the participants about the activities of the official Hindi language in the company.
The CMD awarded three Areas Kujju (First), Piparwar (Second) and Kathara(third) of the company for better work in the field of Hindi. Similarly, Recruitment Department, Pension Department and Public Relations Department of CCl headquarters were given first, second and third prizes respectively. Dr Banerjee co-ordinated the programme, while vote of thanks was given by Manjula Sharma.
