Top officials of district administration, railways and BCCL are in grip of coronavirus here in district according to available reports. As far as railways is concerned, besides divisional railway manager Asish Bansal, ADRM and a host of other officers and staff have been tested positive .
The railways has banned entry of outsiders in DRM office since around 60 of its officers and staff were tested positive. It's supposed that most of them attended a series of meetings including a meeting of MRS at divisional headquarters in December last week and in first week of January while tested were found positive .Not only railways officials of BCCL including two general managers and district administration too have been tested positive and are undergoing treatment at different hospitals including Railways and central hospital.
