Provide better facilities at Sadar Hospital: CP Singh

PNS

State urban development and housing development minister CP Singh on Monday directed the officials to develop Ranchi Sadar Hospital in a way that people forget the comforts of private hospitals.

Speaking on a programme where various equipments were donated to the hospital by reputed people of the city, Singh said, "There is a need to provide all modern facilities at the hospital.

The heritage building of the hospital will remain intact but the facilities provided inside it would be improved."

A total of 19 equipments, including one oxygen concentrator, two radiant warmers for the infant section and 16 quick dry sheets were made available to the hospital on the occasion. MP Mahesh Poddar who was attending the programme said, "The hospital should give a proposal if they want any more equipment.  There are a number of people who would be ready to help."

He added, "Services of private practitioners can be taken at the hospital. There is also a need to open a generic medicine store here."
