DGP Rajiv Kumar held a review meeting regarding crime and traffic control in the state capital and other parts of the state at police headquarters in Ranchi. The meeting was attended by senior police officials of special branch, STF, SCRB, Zonal IG of Ranchi Range Suman Gupta, SSP, City SP and Traffic SP of Ranchi.
DGP during the meeting, stressed on giving multifold training to the police officials so proper investigation could be done in the cases registered at various police stations. He also gave instructions to dispose of the pending passport verification immediately.
Problems of naxalism, law and order along with the disposal of pending cases in the state police stations were also taken up during the meeting.
Taking the complaints of not registering FIR at the police stations seriously, the DGP directed the police officials to ensure that action was taken immediately after registering ‘Zero FIR’ in the case.
