RR Srivastava

It is a special day for me and Bank of India that our collective efforts had fruited in the form of two mobile medical van units to serve the rural people of the Hazaribagh parliamentary constituency and soon we are coming with a project to take care of the kids’ health of the area because during my visits of the remote areas I have felt that the future generation are suffering with malnutrition and they need special care. It was said by MP Jayant Sinha in the program organised by Bank of India.

Both MP Sinha and CMD BOI VR Iyer handed over the keys of mobile medical vans to the members of NGO Johar who will run these units. MP Sinha said that these mobile medical vans will roam into the rural areas of the constituency and will help in carrying serious patients from the PHCs. In each van there will be a doctor, nurse and a support staff besides the driver.

Calling it a historical moment CMD Bank of India VR Iyer, the first top official of a bank to visit Hazaribagh, said that their bank is the lead bank here and under the CSR activity they have provided these vans. She also informed that in the project of child care monitoring and service the bank is ready to join hands with Minister Jayant Sinha.

later talking to newsmen CMD Iyer informed that the recruitment process of staff and officials is going on for Bank of India. We have planned it to complete it in phases to meet the man power requirement in next three years. The present phase of recruitment is likely to be completed within next 4-5 months, she added.

Praising the activities of BOI Hazaribagh zone she said that the business of over five thousand crores, 88 branches, more than 100 ATMs, 3 e-galleries are sufficient to show that the officers and staffs of this zone are giving their best to serve the valuable customers of this zone. She assured to add some more facilities for the customers soon.
