PNS

lionesses Sundari and Saraswati who were adopted in 2011 by former Miss World and Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra from Bhagwan Birsa Biological Park are in search of their mistress!

Their adoption has neared to complete two years term in July and a renewed request to Priyanka would be sent by the zoo authorities.“Sundari and Saraswati are aged around 15 years and would be completing their adoption this July. But, Priyanka has an option to renew this adoption for two more years. We are

planning to send a letter regarding this matter to Priyanka’s secretary in June,” revealed Birsa Biological Park Director AK Patra. The lionesses were rescued from circuses and thereafter offered to Priyanka after she showed her keen interest to adopt these animals.

The local zoo had then begun a scheme wherein people can adopt animals by paying a certain amount. Besides Priyanka some other inmates of the zoo have also been adopted by different celebrities and organisations.
