Principal Secretary Drinking Water and Sanitation Department AP Singh on Friday visited Garhwa district and said that sufficient funds would be made available for construction of toilets in the district.
After holding a meeting with Garhwa DC Neha Arora and others officials Principal Secretary directed the officials to speed up the work and complete them in time.
In the meeting Singh said that it is necessary to prepare such environment that people themselves give application for construction of toilet and they also use them.Co-ordination of all will make cleanliness mission successful.
Singh appealed to the people that it is very fortunate for them that two schemes like Cleanliness Campaign and Nir Nirmal Yojna are going on in the district.
In the meeting Superintending Engineer of PHED Yamuna Ram, Julfikar Ali, State coordinator Kumar Premchand, DDC Jagat Narayan Prasad, EE Garhwa Radheshyam Ravi, EE Palamu Shashi Shekhar, BDOs and other officers were present in the meeting.
Earlier, the Principal Secretary alongwith the DC inspected the construction of toilets work at Danda block and expressed satisfaction with the work.
