A meeting of District Press Union was held at Shanti Ashram on Thursday. It was chaired by Deepak Mukherjee. In the meeting, a district level committee and block level committee were set up by the assent of all. Deepak Mukherjee was elected as president, Om Prakash Sahu and Vikram Chouhan as vice-president, lokesh Keshri as secretary, Amit Verma and Vinod Kumar Mahto as asst secretary and treasury head Vinod Prasad.
likewise, the president of Bhandra Angad Kumar, Amit Raj from Kuru, Sambhu Soni from Kairo, Shakil Ahmad from Kisko, Gaffar Ansari from Senha and Dev Kumar Singh from Peshrar were elected. The block heads were directed to extend their committee within a week. All other members would be the members of district committee.
