Poor students to get free coaching for competitive exams

PNS

The Tribal Welfare Department has taken an important step for tribal students preparing for competitive exams. The department has decided to provide special coaching facilities to such students who are deprived of good coaching institutes despite being talented.

Under this initiative, 100 tribal students in Khunti district will be given coaching at Birsa College.

Earlier, under the initiative called "Sampoorna Shiksha Kavach", the district administration is providing free NEET and JEE coaching to students of low income, due to which many students are succeeding in these exams every year.

This new coaching scheme being started by the Tribal Welfare Department will also provide an opportunity to poor and talented students to move towards higher education.

Students will be selected for coaching through the application process. ITDA Project Director Alok Shikari Kachhap said that the state government is going to provide coaching facilities for tribal students in all the districts. A good agency will be hired, after which 100 students will be selected and coaching will be started. This step will definitely prove to be a big helpful initiative for poor and talented students.
