A 13-year-old boy was kidnapped on March 16 for ransom from Panki. The Panki Police traced the mobile number of kidnapper and his location said sources.
The kidnapper called boy's uncle and demanding `1.5 lakh as ransom for the release of the boy.
DSP PR Barwar has confirmed the ransom call to the tune of rupees 1.5 lakh besides the tracking of the cell phone number of the kidnapper whose location is in and around Tarhassi.
Police are acting cautiously to avoid any harm to the boy. According to the police, Vijay disappeared on March 16. The family thought he would have gone to his uncle's residence at Sildilya Jharkhandi Village but on learning that Vijay was not there, the family had first informed police about the incident.
