The Bishnugarh police of Hazaribag have recovered 49 kilogram marijuana from Konar dam from a café hotel. Police have arrested one person along with a car. Meanwhile, in the Choparan police area cops have seized 22 kg Doda and arrested a hotel owner. The Deputy SP of Bishnugarh range Om Prakash said that police received a secret tip off that some of the persons were carrying marijuana in a car. They had parked the car behind café hotel near Jamnijara more of Konar dam.
The police reached the hotel and found the car. They found that under the car seat 90 bags of plastic were stuffed with marijuana. The Dy.SP further said that they have arrested Sanjay Kumar of Jamanijara. He said that the cops were trying to arrest the master mind of this illegal business. He said that the cost of seized marijuana is more than Rs.5 lakh.
In another search operation, the Choparan police recovered 22 kilogram Doda, a form of raw opium, from a line hotel near Dhanaua more. The Dy.SP of Choparan sub division Manish Kumar said that they have lodged an FIR against hotel owner Daljeet Singh of Ludhiana in Punjab. After the medical examination of Corona he has been sent to Hazaribag central jail.
