Ranchi cops were able to arrest the 4 accused who looted Rs 90,0000 from the accountant of Bablu Chapadiya, businessmen of Upper Bazar on Monday.
The loot incident took place on September 1, when Pawan Kumar Sharma, the accountant was going to deposit Rs 900000 at the Upper Bazar branch of Bank of India.
On the instruction of SSP Ranchi, Prabhat Kumar a five member team of senior police officials was framed to catch the accused and the team succeeded in doing so on Monday morning.
Out of the looted amount Rs 529000 was recovered and the remaining is believed to be recovered soon. 4 mobile phones, 2 loaded pistols, one 7.62 mm used bullet, two 3.15mm unused bullets, the motorcycle used for the loot and a scooty was also recovered.
