Garhwa police led by Superintendent of police Sudhir Kumar Jha destroyed two dozen country-made liquor producing facilities at village Duldulwa under Meral police station, on Tuesday. Police also seized 50 kg Mahua flower and others articles used in making of liquor.
The culprits managed to escape. Garhwa SP informed that everyday about 3000 litres country-made liquor is produced in the klins.They were selling these liquor in different places including Meral,Dandai, Garhwa, Jarhi etc. Such wine being supplied by the moter cycle. SP said that Up-Pramukh and Mukhiya were also involved in the illegal running kiln. Needful action would be taken against guilty persons.
