A team of Ganday police of Giridih district have arrested three cyber criminals and found 6 mobiles, 3 ATM cards, one cheque book of Bank of India ,and 8 Sim card and other gadgets from them near Raskutta, Jhilwa, Madhupur and Chapri village of Madhupur under Ganday police station on Sunday. The criminals were identified as Naresh Mandal, Nandkishor Mandal and Mahesh Hembram.
Giridih SP Surendra Kumar Jha said the police got a tip-off regarding movement of cyber criminals in and around Giridih -Raskutto , Jhilwa and Chanpari villages and nearby areas on Sunday morning. "A team of Ganday police officer-in Charge Sujit Kumar along with Rational Munda with forces reached the suspected locations and caught the duo. All had criminal records in different police stations of Giridih. Manish Toppo while briefing the media at Giridih police line on Sunday afternoon. All were arrested red-handed while making fraud calls to various people. They had transacted Rs 15 lakh," Toppo said.
