Departmental proceedings have been ordered against two police officers, one each at Danda police station and Garhwa police station for wasting time in identifying the place of occurrence of a road robbery and not informing the senior police officer about the row generated by them with the police of Palamu.
DIG Palamu confirmed the initiation of action saying the police officers ought to have shown more wisdom and common sense and ought to have been more sensitive to PO instead of washing off hands. A road robbery took place on Shahpur Garhwa road on November 9/10 night. The Danda police and Garhwa town police just disowned the PO and delayed action.
