Canary hill is the next most loved picnic spot of the town. View of entire town from the top of the hill is always remembered by the visitors. This year the district administration has made arrangements for drinking water in the upper part of the hill which was a demand of the visitors since years. In the foothills chain of ponds in the nursery of forest department are ready to welcome you.
Hazaribagh sanctuary which is spread in about 18,625 hectare area and Salparni within it is another spot of attraction. lush green forest, tiger trap, deer safari and boating in Salparni lake are ready to make your New Year pleasant. It is about 20 KM from the town.

DSP SC Jha said that on every picnic spot police party will be on duty. Besides this continuous patrolling, panther force will keep eyes on notorious persons.
