PNS

Para teachers gheraoed the residence of MlAs across the State and urged to them to convey their demands to CM Raghubar Das at the earliest. As many as 3,500 cluster resource personnel (CRP) and block resource personnel (BRP) also joined the para teachers protest on Saturday. All these para teachers from all the 24 districts of State have been demanding for job regularisation since long.

The para teachers under the programme ‘Ghanta Bajao Nindira Bhagao’ on Saturday gathered at the residence of MlAs and staged protest. Divided in different groups, they have asked for

further support from all the MlAs who have signed the petition in their favour few months ago.

“Our only demand is to regularise each one of us as Government teachers and to provide all the facilities given to government employees. We have started the protest on September 17 and till date nothing concrete has been done on the issue. We are trying to approach all the officials and ministers, as our demands are genuine,

we will continue to protest in the coming days too until our demands are accepted,” said, para teacher leader,

Vikrant Jyoti.

“Earlier several MlAs were in our favour and have also assured us all help but even after two weeks none of them have either appealed to the School Education and literacy Minister, Neera Yadav presenting our demand or have spoken to CM on regularizing us,” added Jyoti.
