M FZ AHMAD

The official vehicle of Pandu BDO today fell off a bridge at the turning of the Ghori Ghat under the Nawa Jaipur police station in Palamu.

Incidentally the Pandu BDO Rahul Oraon was not in the vehicle, said Sadar SDO Rajesh Kumar Sah. The official vehicle was being driven by the Nazir of the Pandu block Gobind and was seated in the vehicle by two of his acquaintances.

It's a providential escape that none of the three travelling in the official vehicle sustained any acute or severe injury except some moderate shock of fall.

Sadar SDO Rajesh Kumar Sah quoting Pandu BDO Rahul Oraon said "The vehicle was to be taken down to some mechanic in and around Pandu as the vehicle needed some repair. It is not known as to how this official vehicle took a different route Nawa Jaipur quite opposite of Pandu where it fell off the bridge."

The vehicle is heavily damaged but in that proportion the three occupants there in the vehicle had not any injury.

Initial report said the Nazir at the driving seat just lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle jumped off the bridge.

Sources said it calls for investigation as to how this official vehicle was found under Nawa Jaipur police station area where Pandu block office has no business.

Sources said the Nazir of the Pandu block is under the scanner of the administration for such digression to route unofficially and without the knowledge and consent of the BDO Pandu Rahul Oraon.
