Union HRD Minister Dr M M Pallam Raju took stock of the progress of construction work of Central University of Jharkhand going on at Cheri Manatu, the permanent campus of the university here on Monday.
Raju during his brief visit to the site looked content with the pace of work by the university in short span of time. OSD (Project) N P Garg briefed the minister on the project. Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren also accompanied the the HRD minister.
Raju was here to lay stone of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) at Cheri. Vice chancellor Professor D T Khathing and senior officials and faculty members were present on the occasion.
