PNS

Two episodes having communal tinge were diluted and the attemp to create trouble was aborted by the active and swift intervention of the Town police station. SP Palamu Ajay Linda said the police acted fast and defused the communal problem which was brewing alarmingly. It was all connected with love and love escapades involving two communities.

It was officer in charge of Town police station cum inspector of police Anand Kumar Mishra who giving details said there was one face book post of the controversial love which could have triggered a bigger problem but it was handled and contained quite dexterously to the satisfaction of the concerned people of both the communities.

Mishra said there was another case where there was the madness of love which too was firmly curbed.

This police officer said at time like such episodes require immediate attention and our SP has given us strict instructions to nip such unforeseen episodes in bud.

To have a peaceful conduct of puja celebrations and immersions of goddess Durga  SP Linda on vehicle checking for illicit arms is going on from Harihurganj to Satbarwa police stations which are NHs stretch.  The search is intense and because of the pressure so built up by police no criminal or arms conduit is daring to ship any illicit arms here now nevertheless Linda said this vehicle checking will go on without causing any inconvenience to the bikers.

As many as 40 immersions alone take place in Daltonganj and in its periphery added Mishra and this road checking is helping police much.

Queried that as it is festive time and police’s hands are full of law and order work  so if there is any lurking danger of Maoists or any splinter group of naxals rearing its head here again to which Linda said “ The Maoists and other groups of naxals are too down. They stand isolated.  They have lost their teeth but there is no room for any complacency on the part of the police.”

Reminded that Palamu has its border with Bihar’s Gaya and there in Gaya is Chakar Bandha location which is the last abode of the Maoists so if there is any threat of their sneaking in Jharkhand’s Palamu Linda said our police force and CRPF are taking control of the stretch of this Gaya connectivity of our district and any aberration of the Maoists will be met with most suitably.
