'Our 14 months will make us winner'

RR Srivastava

The fourteen-month tenure of our Government is going to prove heavier than the tenures of other Governments of Jharkhand since the last 14 years. In this short period, the works done by us and the decisions taken by my Government have been acclaimed by every section of the society so there is no doubt that this time the people of Jharkhand will make us winners,” said Chief Minister  Hemant Soren while addressing a massive gathering in Block Office ground at Barhi.

Announcing the candidature of Sabi Devi, Soren hoped that the people of Barhi will vote for her as their tribute to the late Tileshwar Sahu who had won the hearts of the people here by his works. Hitting hard on AJSU and BJP, he said “we are fighting alone because we refused to leave our old workers and friends but both parties have come together leaving their old workers and friends alone in mid journey only for the chair and to loot the State.”

Addressing the gathering, Minister Jaiprakash Bhai Patel said that JMM is the party which not only thinks for the State but has now proved that it has a vision for the overall development of the State and its 3.25 crore people. “We had fought for the people in pain and here too we have given ticket to Sabi Devi to give relief to the people of Barhi from the pain you have got from the betrayal of AJSU party”.

Sabi Devi said that her husband had chosen Barhi as his work place and it was his dream to make the constituency developed. “After his brutal murder it is the love of you people that I am standing before you as a candidate of the party which not only created Jharkhand but also dreams to make it developed”, said Devi. A strong contender of JMM ticket from Barhi, Vinod Vishwakarma, sons of Tileshwar Sahu, Arun and Meghnath Sahu and Helal Akhtar also addressed the gathering. On this occasion, large number of workers and office bearers of AJSU joined JMM.
