During the third day of International Conference on “Automation & Information Technology in Iron & Steel Making”, as many as 33 technical papers were presented in three parallel venues at RDCIS, Ranchi.
In addition, there were five manufacturers’ presentations, out of these six presentations were made by foreign delegates. The papers highlighted state-of-the art innovative solutions using Automation and IT in steel industry. The technical papers were presented in six Technical Sessions with theme topics namely, “Automation Solution for Renewable & Green Energy”, “Process Automation in Rolling Mills”, “Current Trends in Automation”, “Instrumentation & Process Control”, “Process & Business Computerisation” and “Automation & IT for effective process Visualisation”. All technical sessions were very interesting, informative and relevant in current context.
Good number of visitors also gained valuable information from the Technical exhibiters arranged as part of the Conference. In the evening, concluding session of the conference, was organized where six expert panelists, expressed their views about the Current Challenges, Opportunities and future trends of Automation & IT.
