Noted academician of the city and Principal of Baug-E-Jamsheed School Shireen N Dotivala (64) passed away at the Tata Main Hospital on Sunday. She suffered a massive cardiac arrest.
She was the principal of Baug-E-Jamsheed school since 1988. Under her guidance the school joined hands with schools in Singapore and UK. Baug-E-Jamsheed was the first school in the city to receive the prestigious Dr JJ Irani Award for Excellence in Education under the Tata Steel Education Excellence Programme in 2013 and 2015. The funeral proceedings will take place tomorrow at her residence. The Baug-E-Jamsheed School will be closed on July 27 and 28.
